Good Morning Elmdon Residents,
It has been quite a busy week for the LEOS Neighbourhood Team with loads of good news to share with you all. In regards to a crime update, there were three theft of motor vehicle offences during last week. On the night of the 20th April 2026, a Blue PEUGEOT 208 GT has been stolen from NORGRAVE ROAD by smashing the window and then driving off with the vehicle. In the early hours of 22nd April 2026, a White TOYOTA Yaris has been stolen from TANHOUSE FARM ROAD by unknown means before being driven away. On the night of the 22nd April 2026, a Silver Toyota Prius has been stolen from LANGLEY RISE by unknown means before being driven away.
Good News to share: The team stayed on beyond a regular tour of duty to help safeguard a very vulnerable male who had made off from officers and was in need to immediate care and support. Thanks to the great work of the team on the day he was quickly and safely located and provided the support he needed. The team have been on joint visits with Solihull Housing to a number of addresses linked to ASB and drug use. This is in an effort to tackle local issues at the root cause and reduce issues for the local residents and increase our intel picture. The team were welcome guests of the 1st Olton Scout Group where they gave a presentation to the group as well as the Beavers group and let the kids gets a change to try on some of our hats, helmets and hold a riot shield or two. Big thanks to those who kindly invited us and to all those who attended. The team seized a vehicle which has been used in crime and was obstructing residents around St. Bernards Rd. This car was seen in the area possibly drug dealing and engaging in anti-social behaviour. It is now safely under lock and key with us.
I hope you all have a great bank holiday weekend and please feel free to reach out to us, | ||
